But to return: What niahcs the now year a hopeful ouo for Ameri cans The Immigration that la helns killed off: and the education they may build up. The modern system of education is a tremendous hypocrisy. A child Is a aavage. cruel, noisy, dirty, luqulsi jtice being, indiscreet to the point of I telling tiie truth regardless of the j feeling of others. Persons who live j with liiolr children do so because. J they cannot ai'i'ord to send tieon to 1 boarding school. Wo nro neither bigoted onough to cut each other's throats, nor roligious enough to respect and undei-stnnd one nnother's beliefs. The religious man is not a person who does, or docs not, belong to any creed, but a man whu has a constant knowledge that he Is hero as tho in strument of tho universal force. The main truth Is that Uod has no hands, no brains, but your btains; for Cod is nothing hut a will. 1 !e llevo that tho higher power, tho al mighty force, we call Cod cannot do the work of tho world without our help.
