BAND CONCERT PROVES
BEST OF THE SEASON
With an ideal evening and a splen
didly arranged program, Tuesday
evening's concert given by the Med
ford band at the City park, was eas
ily In advance of th proceeding en
tertainments, which have on
much popularity for our energetic
band and bandmaster. The selec
tions which were well chosen proved
most popular with the large aud
ience. Encores were quite the order
of the evening. Suppe's overture to
"La Burlesque" was. perhaps the
masterpiece, of the program, and it
is hoped that our band will give this
great work equally as good a rendi
tion next Sunday afternoon at Ash
land. The always popular medley of
operas as it was played on Tuesday
evening, was undoubtedly the best
effort of tlie band tills season, music
of such class will bring tlio band the
'whole-hearted support of our music-
loving citizens. A special program is
In preparation for next Sunday's con

Coupons or premiums have
never been used as an induce
ment to smoke Prince Albert!
The correctness of our belief that
smokers do prefer quality rather than
premiums or coupons is proven by
the enthusiasm with which Prince
Albert pipe and cigarette tobacco has
been received throughout the civi
lized world! Premiums or coupons
have never been offered as an induce
ment to smoke it!
Prince Albert is sold strictly on merit. It
is a tobacco of choice quality, and made by
an exclusive patented process that docs cut out
bite and parch! It took three years and a
fortune to perfect that process so that today
every man with a desire to smoke a pipe or
roll his own cfgarettes can do so without a
comeback, no matter how tender his tongue
or throat may be!
