average cow requires from two to two
and a half pounds of digestible pro

A combination of alfalfa and dried

Dried beet pulp Is very light and
bulky, ono quart weighing about halt
a pound. When moistened, it swells

bulkiest of all feeds; hence, It can bo
used successfully in placo of corn
ullage, hay or other roughage. It is
highly digestible and very nutritious.
Its 20 per cent of crudo fiber is 48
percent digestible. Wheat bran is
nine percent fiber which is only 39
per cent digestible. Hence, thoro is
