I.Ut of Undesirables His attention was drawn to tho re cent testimony of Henry Ford ot De troit, who testified that a depart- Iment of his company kept him ad- vlsed-ns to labor conditions among his 1S.000 employes. Mr. Rockefel ler pointed out thnt Mr. Ford was making millions of dollars of profit ovcry year, but thnt tho Colorado Fuel & Iron company was "not mak ing returns to Its stockholders." Mr. Walsh asked Mr. Rockefeller whether ho thought It legal and right for corporations to use a blacklist. Tho witness said ho believed a,cor plratlon might havo its own list ot "undesirables" but that ho did not bellcvo tho list should bo sent to other companies. Ho testified that ho fav ored collective bargaining on tho em ployes. Tho position of the worked would be much stronger under such conditions, tho witness ngreed.
