live on but bread and tea. There
was a month of good fishing, then
winter set In again.
To add to tho suffering a severe
epidemic of Influenza Is raging. Tho
relief measures instituted by the
Newfoundland goerument will ease
the situation komewhat and will tide
the jxople over until next summer.
