The first rule Is, of courw, the

If tho monoy Is borrowed for a wise
purpose It will produce enough to

leave a fair margin of profit for the
borrower Into th? bargain. If it Is
borrowed for a foolish purpose it will
produce nothing nnd consequently
there will be. nothing with which to

It Is the payment of the principal
that Is the chief difficulty.

much moro destructive to these crops
than others, owing to various causes,
such as the weather conditions or
the presence or absence of the various
parasites and predaceous enemies,
which sometimes keep them reduced
to a minimum.
The green caterpillars, or cabbago
worms, found on cabbage and allied
plants, aro too well known to need
any description. They develop Into
the common white, gray or orange
butterflies with small dark spots on
their wings. They are seen frequent
ly during the summer flying about
the garden and clover and alfalfa

on the cabbsco. which hatch Into tho !
