In 1910 I started with six shoats and from thorn I grew tho bnuch up to 300 head end I sold 100 hoad this year for I9GS.00 and stl 1 have about 200 head left from three months up to one year old with about SO sows to pig .March 1st. From one-fourth acre Septumbor 15th wo gathered 27 bushets of corn orat tho rato ot 10S busbels per aero and uolther fertilized nor Irrlgatod, and by deep winter plowing, proper seed corn and cultivation wo ought to reasonably expect from GO to 73 bushels of corn per aero on any rich bottom lands, without clthor fertilizer or Irrigation, as wo arc not bothered hero with hot winds to cook or kill the corn as other state In the summer. I hnvo farmed In tho valley flvo years and made five good crops without cither fertilizer or Irrigation. Al though tho valley lies a fine irrigation system with nn abuudnnco of water acccssablo to all and reasonable. Tho climate Is one ot tho valley's greatest ascts, neither extremo heat or cold. I havo never done biiblness with finer men than our merchants and baukers and any new comer can expect every favor that his business worth and business methods will warrant. Nlnety-flvo per cent of our population is American. Wo have tho finest school buildings and It not tho best as good schools ns any locality In fact, wo are moving Just a llttlo ahead and with this most progressiva age. Eagle Point.
