excavating and throwing away the old macadam road bed. which originally
cost a considerable sum of money, this was utilized for tho base and rcdroscd
with two inches of WAKRENJTE surface at a comparatively low cost. This
method has proven fully as good as where the ojd base is removed and a now
one substituted.
WARRENITE surface for country roads is composed of the varying
sizes of the best stone obtainable, and bituminous cement, having all the
durability and stability required of a successful country road surface.
WARRENITE, in modified form, is constructed, under 'the same general
principles, supervision and care as the Bitulithic street pavement, the growth
of which has bcenuinprccedentcd in the paving world. WAKliKKlTE is es

Oregon is to be congratulated on getting a flying start toward first
class country thoroughfares. WAURI'INTI'K is reasonable in first cost, san
itary and dusllcss, ;i fiords a good foothold for horses and automobiles do not
skid on it.
WARRENITE roadways have boon contracted for to March HI, l!)i:i, to

ditional 1,000,000 square yards have boon laid throughout tho country.
WARRENITE today is not an experiment, but an Ideal Country lioad,
tho result of cloven years of practical experience in scientific research. II has
boon adopted iu varying climatic conditions, withstanding hot and extreme
cold weather without creeping or cracking.
MAINTENANCE is a serious question after contractors' guarantee
has expired, but the use of WAIfUENITE eliminates this most important
factor, as its twelve-year record to date proves.
"Hy the use of WAItltENITE Oregon's country highways may be made
so permanent and durable iu character that the high quality of the work will
bo remembered long after the price is forgotten. Such roads will bu built
not merely for present show, but to stand the test of time.
Your inquiries concerning WAUMfENITE or DITUhlTHlC paving are
