The early stages of the disease are characterized by such symp toms as a tight, stuffy feeling in the nose, watery eyes, ringing noises in the cars, irritation of the throat, nnd often hoarseness nnd difficult breathing-. If the trouble is not checked it invades the stomach and other portions of the body and becomes n dangerous disorder. Antiseptic washes, sprays, etc., are beneficial in removing accumulated mucus from the nose or throat, but such treatment can never cure Catarrh. S. S. S. is the one real de pendable remedy for Catarrh. This great medicine cures the disease be cause it purifies the blood and thus destroys its cause. S. S. The public market brings city and country together and has greatly tended to reduce tho cost of living. It wns advocated by the Mail Tribune and the Oreater Medford Club long before official action was taken. However, to Mr. AVaii, as councilman, be longs the credit of introducing tho bill and putting the market on its present satisfactory basis. Tic is the father of the public, market law, and men and women who want an administration friendly to the market should vote for AVatt. lie believes that legal saloons are entitled to the full protection of tho law, no less and no more. He believes there is a suffic ient number of saloons in Medford for the present population and is opposed to granting additional licenses until there is a mater ial increase in the size of tho city. If you believe the saloon question should bo handled in this manner then vote for Watt. Mr. "Watt hi a large tax payer and is personally interested in seeing that taxes arc kept as low as possible.
