To date the company has brought into MeUfonl from Butte Falls ami Derby over 3,000 cords of four foot r.rc wood, and there are more than 2000 cords still awaiting transportation. INTERESTING LECTURE AT NAT TONIGHT Everyone interested in electric lightning and the proper use of lumps should attend tho free illus trated lcqturo to be given at the Nntutoriutn tonight by F. D. Fngau, the "lighting expert secured by the CJnHfoniin-Orcgon Power company. Many interesting pictures will hn shown on the manufacture of the in candescent electric lamp, going back as far as Edison's fiit lamp which was made in 1879. The proper and improper method of lighting stores and show windows will be shown in detail. Tho effect of various kinds of light on colors will be demonstrat ed showing clearly that it has been impossihlo with tho nso of the old carbon' lamp to match colors. This will be interesting to the Indies and they are especially invited to at tend. Mr. Fngau said today that the nv erago consumer of electricity wa loosing about thirty per cent of the light from Innip now in use, os there was approximately as much light goes to, tho ceiling ns to tho floor, that he proposes to show ns how to gather the wasted light and make use of same by throwing it on to the subject to bo illuminated. In fact one statement was to tho effect that ho would secure as much light from a two-candle power lamp, as we get from the ordlnnry thirty-two caridlo power. The lei-lure is free and the public is cordially invited.
