HEALTH CONDITIONS IMPROVE GREATLY IN MEDFORD City Health Officer Stearns Shows Less Thau Half the Illness Hero in 1911 That Prevailed In Previous Year. Improved health conditions in Med fold are indicated by the anuitul re port of City Health Officer Slearas. lu his report he shows that less than half the illness has prevailed the past year that previously existed, duo to the line oily water and sewer systems, Dr. Stearns says in pari; Situation Much Hotter. "The situation is far bettor than a year iiko. At that time less t lin.it half the physicians wero reporting ami uaraiitiniuK contagious diseases and they only partially. This year practically every physician has been reporting faithfully. Tho data below will show the great decrease in con tagious diseases for 1011, when prac tically all eases wero reported for tho whole year, in Mroug contrast with Iho year JDOl), when only half tho physicians wero reporting.
