"Silver Threads Among the Gold," at
the Mcdford theater tomorrow night.
Mr. Jose has chosen this play to make
his return to the legitimate stage,
many years featured In all the big
leading minstrel companies. Then tho vau
deville stage tempted him, and he
became a lieadllnor in tho bettor class
of "vaudeville productions. He was
exceedingly popular in the west, par
ticularly on the Pacllfc coast.
In "Silver Threads," Mr. Jose be
lieves ho has procured a legitimate
after an absenco from it of several .successor to "Tho Old Homestead,"
