He failed to s.ivo the carrier, but he is none the worse today for his daring attempt. Kermit tried three times to roach the porter nnd each time was close to the crocodiles. The sauriaus ap parently did not see youug lloose vclt, but seized upon the body of the unfortunate porter and dragged him beneath the surface. Ralsull's Death Confirmed. TANGIER, Morocco, Feb. 19. The authorities announced today that tho recent semi-official report of the death of Ilaisuli, the notorious ban dit, was erroneous. They say the desperado himself was responsible for the report.
