Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Hal- ley, the proprietor of tho hotel, were en! gnged In cleaning up tho room formerly occupied by tho girls who had left. The stove In the room was full of paper, otc., and Mrs. Tnylor "set It nflre. Al most Instantly thero was a burst of flame and Mrs, Taylor received the full j force of It. Her hair and eyelashes were burned and the explosion filled her eyes with soot and ashes from tho stove.
