At the regular meeting of the "Greater Medford Club," Monday af ternoon, the organisation of a "boac club" in connection with the library "was discussed, the object of tho so ciety being to procure new and de sirable books for tho library. The book club was organized and all the members of tho "Greater Medford Clnb" present, enthusiastically join ed. The plans of tho society are as follows: Each member pays a mem bership fee of $1 towards a fund to buy tho new books. Thcso books are to bo in the library and to bo in circulation among tho members of tho book club for six months. At the end of tho six months tho books will be passed over permanently to tho general library circulation. All wishing to join the book club may do so by pn,ving $1 membership. In quire for details from tho librarian. Tho friends of the library will bo interested to know thnt tho number of patrons and tho number of books in circulation for tho month of De cember grently exceeds tho record of any month so far in tho history' of tho library.
