M instrel Company Pleases The Mosier Peerless Minstrel Co. played to a large audience last Saturday night. Many in the country were kept at home fey the inclement weathe»*. The jokes, monologues, songs and other stunts pulled -off by this aggregation of home talent black-face fun-makers kept the house giggling most o f the time and the jabs -at some of our local celebrities contained much pointed humor, which was ap parently as much enjoyed by the victims o f the wit as by the au dience. Messrs. Mayer, Mc- Cargar, McGregor, Macrum, Weller, Howe, and the rest of the Scotchmen “ got theirs” dur in g the evening. The program was as good as it was long and reflected much «credit on the ability o f the en tertainers. We are shy on space in which to throw verbal bouquets to the entire troupe, (some of them received a few beautiful ones o f the “ garden” variety at the time) but we will note in «passing Ihnt H. M.
