Mrs, Ell Summers returned from Portland last Friday evening. The rain of last Tuesday will be a great benefit to growing crops. Miss Winnie Smith Is the guest of Miss Maude McMillan this week. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. McAHster went to McDuffy's Springs last Monday. Chas. Valentine, who spent several days at Pendleton, returned home last Friday. Mrs. M. F. At the time of going to press arrangements for the funeral had not been completed.
