The Allen & Gilbert-Ramaker Co. extensive piano dealers, of Portland, have kindly consented to furnish a new high grade Fischer piano for' the use of the pupils at the recital of the music class of Mrs. E. E. Thomas on April 13th. Mr. A. A. Llneback, special represetative of the house, will be In Lexington on that date with a number of high grabe instruments for the inspection of the public. Geo. W. Love, of Sand Hollow, was In Lexington last Thursday for the first time. Mr, Love told a Wheat field representative, that this was his first trip to Lexington but it would not be his last one He says, that the roads leading to Lexington are easier and better grades than to other towns of the county and the distance is no greater. Mr. Love claimed to us that merchandise was cheaper here than elsewhere and that he saved $2 on a load of ties for wood, as they are 4 cents each less here than at other towns. Many people are finding that Lexington is the best town in the County in many ways. The Infant son, Casper LaValle, of Mr. and Mrs. N. S. Phelps, died last Friday morning, aged 2 months and 23 days. The baby seemed perfectly well and went to sleep and was put in to bed, the mother thinking It sleeping an unusually length of time went to look at him and found her boy dead.
