BLACK HORSE
Black Horse has been the scene of
several social events In the past two
weeks. Every body seems to be en
joying tne snow am cold weatner, as
it gives them a chance to get out and
enjoy themselves with their neighbors.
The dances at Dave Brown's j. D.
Moyers, and Mr. Van, Horns were en
Joyed by all.
The Black Horse Literary and
Debating Society Is progressing In fine
shape. Several out siders have taken
an active part and are a great help In
making the thing a success. The
question for last Saturday night was,
"Resolved" that intemperance causes
more trouble than war. The negative
winning. The question for next Satur
day is, "Resolved" that fire Is more
destructive than water.
James Brown, Mr. A. M. Zink and
A. Brown went to the mountains yes
terday for some horses.
Lewis Fridley and family of Social
Ridge visited with Dave Brown's last
Sunday.
James Brown and famiiy spent
Saturday night and Sunday visiting
friends in Lexington.
