The week following being the ' social meeting night, the lodge is preparing a short program and expects to invite in a few friends to spend the evening. . STRAWBERRY The Christmas tree at the school house was a success, although the school house was' not completed. All enjoyed themselves and the children went away happy. The Sunday School at Strawberry meets each Sunday morning and when the house is finished think we can have a good school. Several of our young folks went to Lone Tree school house to attend the Christmas tree, Sunday night, and all rep6rt a good time. ' J. C. White received a diploma and fine medal for the best Velvet Chaff wheat at the Portland Exposition. It was raised North of the base line. Hurrah for Morrow county.
