The two months old son of Mr.&Mrs. S. G. McMillan was operated on In Heppner last Saturday for rupture The baby was brought to Lexington yesterday and Is doing as nicely . as could be expected. The Portland exposition closed at midnight last Saturday. The heavens wept when the fair closed, says one re port . Those who were in attend ance from this locality say it just poured.
