MONDAY, APRIL 11
7:53 a.m. — Stanfield police responded to Stanfield Elementary
School, 1120 N. Main St., for a disturbance.
8:34 a.m. — Umatilla police initiated activity at McNary Heights
Elementary School, 120 Columbia Blvd., Umatilla, for criminal
mischief.
11:34 a.m. — Union Pacific Railroad employees notified Stanfield
Police Department of a semitrailer stuck on the tracks on the 100
block of East Main Street, Echo.
TUESDAY, APRIL 12
3:34 a.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report
of a black Nissan Altima with three adults and two children
stuck in a ditch on Highway 207 near Heppner. A tow company
responded and provided assistance.
9:13 a.m. — A report of graffiti was made on Seventh Street in
Umatilla.
11:11 a.m. — Umatilla police took a report for graffiti on Eighth
Street.
12:51 p.m. — A 911 caller in Ione reported her ex-husband was
trying to chase her down. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office
responded and took a report.
3:08 p.m. — A resident on Southwest Sage Drive, Hermiston,
made a complaint about neighbors playing loud music outside
in a vehicle. She said this is an ongoing issue and asked for an
officer to call her.
5:19 p.m. — A caller at Panelview RV Park, 77632 Highway 207,
Hermiston, reported being harassed. Police responded.
6:27 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to a site on East Dog-
wood Avenue on a report of a physical domestic disturbance.
6:42 p.m. — A 911 caller reported a horse threw its rider at West
Fourth Road and Washington Lane, Irrigon. The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office and Irrigon ambulance responded; the ambulance
took the patient to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
9:26 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Sloan Avenue on a
report of harassment.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13
12:13 a.m. — A resident on Rippee Road, Boardman, reported her
neighbor’s dog attacked her dog, and she chased the neighbor’s
dog back to its home. She said this was not the first time the dog
has been on her property. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy
made contact.
8:12 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report that the bottom
of the bank machine was “torn up” at U.S. Bank, 245 S.E. Second
St.
11:25 a.m. — A resident on West Lathrop Avenue, Hermiston,
reported he just found out his identity may have been stolen and
he would like options.
3:04 p.m. — A caller reported the theft of a vehicle on West
Locust Avenue, Hermiston.
3:48 p.m. — Hermiston police received a report of child abuse/
neglect.
6:41 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 900 block of
Columbia Drive on a report of an assault.
THURSDAY, APRIL 14
8:43 a.m. — Umatilla police initiated activity on Eighth Street to
take a report of graffiti. An officer noted this is an area that had
been tagged before but this was a new incident.
10:03 a.m. — A resident on Southeast Matlock Street, Heppner,
made a complaint about a neighbor’s vehicle blocking his drive-
way.
10:40 a.m. — A caller on Lorenzen Road, Stanfield, made a theft
complaint. Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
11:57 a.m. — A caller at the Interstate 84 rest area near Stanfield
reported a westbound truck hauling a trailer with “Dallas Freight-
ers LLC” on the cab threw bags of trash out the window. Law
enforcement checked but did not find the truck.
1:37 p.m. — A caller at MJ’s Labor Services Inc., 81822 High-
way 395, Umatilla, made a theft complaint. Law enforcement
responded.
2:09 p.m. — A caller reported he is an employee of the Oregon
Department of Fish and Wildlife and was at the hunter check
station at Paterson Ferry Road and Columbia Lane, Irrigon, and
found several large spools of construction wire that may be sto-
len. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation.
2:14 p.m. — A caller on Walla Walla Street, Umatilla, requested to
speak to an officer regarding his neighbor moving his trash cans
without permission.
4:07 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Umatilla Marina RV
Park, 1720 Quincy Ave., after receiving a report of an attempted
break in with property damage to an RV in dry storage.
4:54 p.m. — A caller reported a dog from the 400 block of South-
east Division Street, Irrigon, killed one of their turkeys and there
was a confrontation with the dog’s owner. A Morrow County
sheriff’s deputy responded and cites the dog owner for having a
dog as a public nuisance.
5:47 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 1000 block of
Northwest Third Street on a report of an assault.
8:54 a.m. — Umatilla police initiated activity at Seventh Street to
take a report of graffiti.
11:42 a.m. — A caller on Sixth Street, Umatilla, reported that
dogs at the listed location are barking non-stop and the fence is
not secure.
11:43 a.m. — A 911 caller on West Catherine Avenue, Hermiston,
reported there is a man in a black four-door car, flailing around
inside and may be on drugs. Law enforcement responded.
11:04 p.m. — A caller on East Newport Avenue, Hermiston,
reported their neighbor was playing music too loud.
Dissolutions
Dissolutions have been issued in Umatilla County for:
Clayton John Haight and Adrianna Claire Haight, both of
Hermiston.
Rachel Dow, of Hermiston, and Shawn Dow, of Umatilla.
Mark J. May, 61, of Umatilla, died April 5, 2022, in
his home. He was born Dec. 5, 1960, in Barstow, Califor-
nia. A memorial service will be April 30, 1 p.m. at Vic-
tory Lighthouse Church, 1940 N.E. 10th St., Hermiston.

Thomas J. “Tom” McCann, 84, of Stanfield, died
April 16, 2022, in his home. He was born Dec. 28,
1937, near Little Rock, Arkansas. Arrangements are
with Burns Mortuary of Hermiston.

12:20 a.m. — A caller on Pine Tree Avenue, Umatilla, reported
their neighbor is having a party with loud music and has multiple
vehicles parked in front of their house. A noise complaint was
filed.
12:49 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to East Main Street for
an assault.
3:19 a.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to
Southwest Ninth Street, Hermiston, for a domestic disturbance.
3:20 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to Northeast Gladys
Drive for a fight.
5:45 a.m. — A caller asked law enforcement to check on the
welfare of a man who was the victim of an assault at the Circle
K, 101 Main St., Boardman. Boardman police responded, and
an ambulance took the man to Good Shepherd Medical Center,
Hermiston.
6:43 a.m. — Umatilla police responded to Columbia Crest Apart-
ments, 1561 Third St., for a burglary.
12:43 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to a residence on Kik
Road, Hermiston, for a burglary.
1:12 p.m. — A 911 caller on Northwest 11th Street, Hermiston,
filed a stalking complaint.
1:14 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to East Gladys Avenue
for a burglary.
2:05 p.m. — Hermiston police received a report of elder abuse/
neglect.
2:56 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Seventh Street, after
receiving a report of an assault.
5:48 p.m. — A caller reported a burglary on Brace Road, Irrigon,
and said the home’s owner is in jail.
6:02 p.m. — A resident on Northwest Washington Avenue, Irri-
gon, reported graffiti on his front fence.
8:11 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Crossroads Truck Stop,
2020 Highway 730, Umatilla, after receiving a report of two males
arguing on the bar side.
MONDAY, APRIL 18
7:43 a.m. — A caller reported a power line down at Northeast
Washington Avenue and 12th Street, Irrigon.
8:06 a.m. — Frederickson Farms, 80702 Paterson Ferry Road,
Irrigon, reported the theft of multiple items this past weekend
and the weekend before.
9:38 a.m. — A resident at Green Acres RV Park, 80542 Paterson
Ferry Road, Irrigon, reported his neighbor assaulted him a year
ago.
10:14 p.m. — A caller reported hearing gunshots from a vehicle
in the area of Boardman Avenue Northwest.
