A6 • HERMISTONHERALD.COM WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2017 RECORDS Burglary suspects burn field The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office called off a pursuit last week but still got their burglary suspects after their vehicle caught fire in Washington. Amber Cravens, 26, and Brandon Scott Ulrey, 36, both of Yakima, face charges on both sides of the Colum- bia River. The sheriff’s office in a written statement reported a deputy at 3:38 p.m. on Thursday responded to a possible burglary on Fourth Street in Irrigon, which led to a car chase. The sheriff’s office reported it stopped the pursuit after three min- the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, which charged them with first-de- gree burglary, second-degree theft and felony attempt to flee. The sher- iff’s office also reported Umatilla Police has charges pending against the pair, as does the Washington State Patrol. The Benton County jail’s online inmate roster does not show Cravens is in jail, but Ulrey remains there for second-degree trespass, obstructing law enforcement and tampering with physical evidence. The Washington State Patrol arrested Cravens and Ulrey and booked them into the Benton Coun- ty Jail in Kennewick, according to COURT REPORT SENTENCES The following sentences have been imposed in Umatilla County courts: FELONY • Kyle Ray Slupsky, 26, Herm- iston, pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine: sentenced to 15 days jail, $200 fine and 6 months driver’s license suspension; plead- ed guilty to DUII: sentenced to 30 days jail, 150 days jail-suspended, 3 years probation, 80 hours com- munity service, $1,255 fine, $2,000 fine-suspended and 1 year driver’s license suspension, plus court costs and fees. • Armando Vargas, 41, Hermis- ton, pleaded guilty to Manslaughter I: sentenced to 171 months Oregon Dept. of Corrections (DOC), 3 years post-prison supervision and $200 fine; pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Class A Felony: sentenced to 58 months DOC, 3 years post-prison supervision and $200 fine. MISDEMEANOR • Adrian Allen Coleman, 49, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to Theft III: sentenced to 15 days jail-sus- pended, 18 months probation, $100 fine and $900 fine-suspended, plus court costs and fees. • Abrahan Figueroa Ayala, 46, Umatilla, pleaded guilty to DUII: sentenced to 30 days jail, 150 days jail-suspended, 2 years probation, 80 hours community service, $2,255 fine, $4,250 fine-suspended and 3 years driver’s license suspension, plus court costs and fees. • Pedro Antonio Covarrubias Espain, 23, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to Driving While Suspended/ Revoked: sentenced to 180 days jail-suspended, 2 years probation, 80 hours community service, $1,000 fine and $5,250 fine-suspended, plus court costs and fees; pleaded guilty to Recklessly Endangering Another: sentenced to 180 days jail-suspend- ed, 2 years probation, 80 hours com- munity service, $1,000 fine, $5,250 fine-suspended and 5 years driver’s license suspension. • Jeanette Marie Taylor, 51, Herm- iston, pleaded guilty to Assault IV: sentenced to 175 days jail-suspend- ed, 18 months probation and $100 fine. FRIDAY, OCT. 6 12:18 a.m. — A prowler was trying to come in the back door at Southwest 11th Street, Hermiston. 11:28 a.m. — A caller said his wallet was stolen at the Auto Wash last night, and two subjects used it today at Dutch Bros. The caller said he had video of the suspects making a purchase at Dutch Bros. on his phone.
