Afterwards, awards will be

Registration for the car
show is Saturday from 7-11
a.m., also at the park. Ad-

HERMISTON HERALD
The collective talents
of nearly a dozen area
women have resulted in a
creative quilt that will be

annual Boardman Quilt
Show.
The group project,
which features a unique
double-sided quilting de-
sign created by Carlie
Schriever of Irrigon, be-
gan in the fall of 2016. The
quilt front is a collection
of holiday cranberry red
and forest green fabrics on
a white background; and
the backing is cranberry
red, embellished with a
green tree and golden star.
Individuals who helped
assemble the blocks and
put the top together in-
clude Nancy Pace of Plym-
outh, Washington, Sandy
Moroney of Umatilla, and
Marie Cornell, Lila Kill-
ingbeck, Glenda Bozarth,
Carol Michael, Cheryl
Tallman, Kathy Morgan,
Kathy Hyder and Mildred
