SATURDAY, MARCH 4 3:09 a.m. - Some prowler tried to get into a house on West Quince Avenue, Hermiston. 11:57 a.m. - Oregon State Police re- ported a local business owner bought several guns in December from an estate sale and completed all the pa- perwork on the purchases. But when he tried to transfer the ownership of a gun, the state’s Firearm Instant Check System identified the gun as stolen. 12:08 p.m. - Management at Rodeway Inn & Suites, 635 S Highway 395, Hermiston, kicked out a guest who broke windows in his room. 11:16 p.m. - A caller on West Alleluia Avenue, Hermiston, reported dogs had been barking since 7 p.m., and this was not the first time FRIDAY, MARCH 3 1:51 a.m. - An employee of Shearer’s Foods, 78035 Highway 207, Hermiston, called 9-1-1 after a man threatened her. 10:28 a.m. - A Hermiston man told police his wife tried to be a secret shopper but instead was scammed out of $2,800. 1:20 p.m. - Hermiston police took a report of boys on East Gladys Avenue following people who walk through the neighborhood. 1:31 p.m. - Another Hermiston resident reported falling victim to computer scammers. He said he received warning his Apple products were corrupted and paid $1,000 before realizing it was all a fraud. 2:29 p.m. - A caller in Ione at Ella Road and Highway 74 reported a dog was bleeding from the eyes and may have fallen from a pickup. 9:03 p.m. - An Irrigon woman reported she and a male broke up, and then his friend began harassing her on Facebook and in person. 9:44 p.m. - A prowler in a Bud- weiser coat peeked into windows at Spruce Village Apartments, 625 N.W. Spruce St., Hermiston. Police did not find the suspect. THURSDAY, MARCH 2 12:45 a.m. - A caller at West Linda Avenue, Hermiston, reported that his stepdaughter is being harassed. 2:02 a.m. - Two men were fighting at Southwest 14th Place, Hermiston. 5:51 a.m. - A resident at Ashley Manor, Southwest Sage Drive, Hermis- ton, was tearing up the kitchen. 8:13 a.m. - Five cows were loose on the side of the road at Northeast 10th Street and Diagonal Boulevard, Hermiston. 10:28 a.m. - A used syringe was found laying on the ground at West Hartley Avenue, Hermiston. 5:26 p.m. - A caller at Lifeways reported that a subject was just there with their families and was suicidal, then left the office with the family. 8:32 p.m. - A caller at Northeast Kenna Drive, Hermiston, reported two people knocked on her door asking for water, and she could tell they were on drugs. They left her house walking toward Aspen, looking in people’s cars. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1 9:27 a.m. - A caller who owns prop- erty at East Cherry Avenue, Hermiston, said there are five or six guys inside the vacant residence partying. 4:30 p.m. - A caller was having a conflict with his child’s mother over custody, she got in his face and threw paperwork at him, at Southwest 11th Hermiston Sept. 7, 1945-Feb. 19, 2017 Daryl R. ARRESTS, CITATIONS SUNDAY, MARCH 5 • Stanfield police arrested Gary Dow Williams, 61, of Plymouth, Washington, for DUII (alcohol), driving while suspended/revoked, and offensive littering. • Umatilla police arrested Samuel Kurt Bergstrom, 56, of Pocatello, Idaho, for DUII (alcohol). SATURDAY, MARCH 4 • Oregon State police cited Bridget Macias, 22, of Umatilla, for DUII (alco- hol) after she crashed a Honda Accord around 5 a.m. on the northbound side of Highway 395 North near Hermiston. An ambulance took her to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston, where she provided a blood sample and the trooper gave her the citation. • Umatilla police arrested Adrien Eugene Mealey, 41, of 214 S.E. Elliott Ave., Gresham, for coercion, felony strangulation constituting domestic violence, second-degree disorderly conduct, resiting arrest and on a warrant. FRIDAY, MARCH 3 • Hermiston police arrested Jaime Castillo Guerrero, 35, of 374 N.W. Crestview Court, Hermiston, for possession of methamphetamine and on a warrant for failure to appear. • Boardman police arrested Shan- non Dale Taylor, 46, of 1531 Seventh St., Umatilla, for first-degree burglary and violating probation. • Hermiston police arrested Joshua Phillip Miltenberger, 24, of Umatilla, for second-degree theft, first-degree trespass, three counts of second-degree trespass, and possession of heroin. • Oregon State police arrested Miguel Colin Moraeles, 54, no address provided, for driving under the influ- ence of intoxicants. His blood-alcohol level was .17 percent. • Oregon State police arrested Sandra Noreen Kounovsky, 48, of Waitsburg, Washington, for DUII (controlled substance). First St., Irrigon, for unau- thorized use of a vehicle and on four warrants for failure to appear. • Hermiston police arrested Clar- ence Delgardo King, 47, of 110 S.E. 10th St., Irrigon, for third-degree robbery, second-degree theft, first-degree trespass, interfering with making a report to police, and second-degree mischief (vandalism), all misdemean- ors. • Pendleton police arrested Mitchell Lee Carry Moccasin, 36, of Hermiston, for offensive littering, interfering with a peace officer, third-degree escape, and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2 • Umatilla police arrested Sophia Evangeline Bellemy, 31, of 210 Jason St., Stanfield, for fourth-degree as- sault constituting domestic violence. The Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office brought initial charges against her for attempted fourth-degree as- sault constituting domestic violence, harassment and reckless burning. The state in court documents accused Bellemy of using fire to damage the victim’s door. MONDAY, FEB. 27 • Umatilla police arrested Raymond Elsworth Dungan, 40, of Umatilla, for second-degree mischief and felony fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence.
