She was born and raised in Echo and graduat- ed from Echo High School in 1971. SATURDAY 9:08 p.m. - A Boardman man undergoing treatment for cancer required an ambulance ride to a hospital after he was unable to walk. 5 p.m. - A man on Riker Lane, Hermiston, reported niece assaulted him. 11:47 p.m. - She took the money and ran. A woman reported she had a $100 bill in her hand at Space Age Fuel, 77522 Highway 207, Hermiston, when a girl grabbed the money and took of running, got into a gold Nissan and headed into Hermiston. FRIDAY 12:02 a.m. - A resident of Vista Mobile Home Park, 1800 N.E. 10th St., Hermiston, reported a prowler outside her home. She said this happened for the three nights in a row. Law enforcement did not ind a suspect. 4:22 p.m. - Four or ive loud partygoers kept a mother and her children awake on Joy Lane, Hermiston. 6:56 a.m. - An Irrigon caller reported his brother assaulted their mother and may have broken her nose. 6:38 p.m. - Umatilla police received a report that a man violated a no-contact order and threw rocks at a woman and hit her in the face. She declined medical help. 8:58 p.m. - The owner of Velasco Used Cars, 80596 Highway 395, Hermiston, reported a man stole a 2013 Ford Escape. She said on May 26 he took it for a test drive and never brought it back. The man stopped communicating, she said, and she found he used a fake name and the government deported him. She asked to speak to a Umatilla County sherif’s deputy about the situation. THURSDAY 6:07 a.m. - A man reported he was driving east on Kunze Lane, Boardman, near Peters Road, and came upon a smaller dark car heading west, and a westbound pickup had to pass that car “really erratically” as a tall white male in a cowboy hat jumped out, put a rile on the car’s roof and ired one shot to the north into a herd of cattle. 8:06 a. - Overlowing garbage at a residence on the 1000 block of Southwest Seventh Street, Hermiston, prompted a caller to complain to police. 9:10 a.m. - A resident on South- east Utah Avenue, Irrigon, reported the neighbor’s vehicle was on ire. 10:13 a.m. - A trespasser at Bolen Farms, 153 N. Ott Road, Hermiston, refused to leave when an owner told him to go. She then told the 30-some- thing man calling himself “Devon” that she called her husband. Devon, or whoever he is, got into a newer gray Ford pickup and left. She also called the Umatilla County Sherif’s Oice. 10:15 a.m. - Two weeks ago, a resident of Northeast Third Street, Irri- gon, told the Morrow County Sherif’s Oice, a neighbor’s dog bit someone and at the time he told the owners he would report it if the dog was out again. It was out again, he said, thus he was calling. 11:17 a.m. - The Morrow County Sherif’s Oice received a call about a male who drives but sufers seizures and does not have a license. 11:45 a.m. - A person came to the Hermiston Police Department, 330 S. First St., Hermiston, to talk to an oi- cer about a domestic violence issue. 11:57 a.m. - A camper at the Sand Station Recreation Area on Highway 730, Umatilla, reported a woman with a bat entered his camp, accused him of doing something to her camp, and threatened to take the bat to his car. 3:03 p.m. - A man on Margaret Avenue, Umatilla, reported a burglary and theft of a .45 Colt pistol, a 9-mm pistol and a semi-automatic shotgun. 3:54 p.m. - Nearly three dozen cows moseyed past the Irrigon cem- etery and sewer plant and then a man’s house on East Oregon Lane. He reported the cows and said he did not know who owned them. 6:48 p.m. - Hermiston police re- ceived a report of two Hispanic males in diferent vehicles asking people to make vehicle repairs. The caller said they bothered him and he told them to leave. He said someone should check them out. 10:38 p.m. - An Irrigon man reported his wife was the victim of a beating. An ambulance took her to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston. WEDNESDAY 11:56 a.m. - An Irrigon woman told the Morrow County Sherif’s Oice a man she knows stole her car Tuesday night before Hermiston police arrest- ed him on other charges. Now the car is in an impound lot, she said, and that her son stole the car keys. 12:59 p.m. - A resident on Southshore Drive, Umatilla, reported a man walked to her fence about 30-40 minutes ago “yelling to throw a stick.” She confronted the man, who lives a few houses away, she said, and he then yelled at her. 2:41 - A man told Umatilla police he went to his residence that burned down at Columbia Crest Apartments on Third Street to retrieve his property but someone stole his guns. 5:22 p.m. - A caller reported he was concerned for the safety of a man walking along the left side of Highway 74 headed into Heppner.
