RECORDS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2016 HERMISTONHERALD.COM • A13 PUBLIC SAFETY LOG MONDAY, MARCH 28 HFES medical calls — 7 5:43 a.m. - Fire alarms were activated at Riverpoint Farms. Hermiston fire responded and located a maintenance issue with the alarms. 8:25 a.m. - A 15-year-old on a bicycle was hit by a pickup at Hermiston High School. The driver of the truck stopped to ask if the teen was “OK” and then drove off. SUNDAY, MARCH 27 HFES medical calls — 10 HFES motor vehicle accidents — 2 12 a.m. - Loud party goers with a bonfire on Buffalo Lane and Stanfield Meadows Road, Hermiston, drew complaints about the ruckus. 12:23 a.m. - Several men threatened a bouncer at the Riverside Sports Bar & Lounge strip club at 1501 Sixth St., Umatilla. 12:23 a.m. - A Stanfield man ran off a male and female who were throwing rocks at cars on North Glendening Street. 12:33 a.m. - Hermiston Police and emergency services were called to a report of a driver slouched over in a running white pickup in front of a house. Police reported the man was sleeping and no medical attention was needed. 12:48 a.m. - A 16-year-old Irrigon boy beat his younger brother and struck him in the face with a Pendleton Whisky bottle. 12:56 a.m. - Umatilla police received a call to help the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of a fight in Irrigon because the nearest Morrow County deputy was coming from the jail in Pendleton and a Boardman officer also was en route. 5:18 a.m. - A nurse from Good Shepherd Medical Center reported after a 16-year-old was discharged to his parents, the father choked the teen in the parking lot. 7:15 a.m. - A worker with Umatilla Electric Cooperative, Hermiston, report- ed a pickup went through guy wires holding a pole at West Progress and Craig roads, Hermiston. No one was injured in the wreck. 9:55 a.m. - Hermiston fire dis- patched to a two vehicle motor vehicle accident on Highland Avenue. 1:01 p.m. - Hermiston Fire responded to a brush fire behind Agape House. High winds restarted a burn pile from earlier in the week. 1:42 p.m. - An adult male approached a 13-year-old, at the teen’s home, in Hermiston and threatened to stab him with a pitchfork. 4:58 p.m. - Hermiston Fire again responded to a fire behind Agape House where winds had reignited a fire in a wood pile. Firefighters put 700 gallons of water in the area and tore down the wood piles to make sure the fire could not be restarted. 6:50 p.m. - The tires were slashed on a car parked on South Highway 395. 7:05 p.m. - A single vehicle rollover accident was reported on East Dogwood Avenue, Hermiston. 8:58 p.m. - A woman in Umatilla reported her husband was drunk, tried to kick her out and threatened to hit her if she did not leave. SATURDAY, MARCH 26 HFES medical calls — 14 12:27 a.m. — A dozen people or more brawled at the Midway Bar & Grill, 1750 N. First St, Hermiston. 1:01 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of possible drug dealing at North Ott and Purdy roads, Hermiston. 2:42 p.m. - A two-vehicle accident was reported at Southwest Third Street and West Orchard Avenue in Hermiston. 8:46 p.m. - A resident of 10th Street in Hermiston reported a black vehicle drove by his house and occupants threw beer cans. FRIDAY, MARCH 25 HFES medical calls — 12 12:49 a.m. - Valium was reported stolen from a table at the Hermiston Shari’s. 2:55 a.m. - A white pickup crashed through a fence on Northeast 11th Street in Hermiston. 8:23 a.m. - A resident at Umatilla Marina RV Park, Umatilla, told police his father is sending people in the night to knock on his door and harass him. 9:15 a.m. - Hermiston Fire responded to Two Rivers Correctional Facility for a possible white powder incident. The building was evacuated. Officials analyzed product with SensIR and it came back negative for hazardous materials and was possibly a pharmaceutical grade pill. 10:46 a.m. - Old West Credit Union, Pendleton, reported someone used a cli- ent’s bank card and drained the account. 12:31 p.m. - A woman called to report a “parade going on without markings anywhere or any police around” that was causing a traffic hazard on Northwest Seventh Street. The driver reported the participants would not move so she could drive to her mother’s house. THURSDAY, MARCH 24 HFES medical calls — 12 5:11 a.m. - A Stanfield man reported he and his “ex” argued, she yelled at him for an hour and then grabbed him around the neck. He said she has his house key and truck key and would not give them back. 9:36 a.m. - Hermiston police asked Pendleton officers to try to contact a woman who drove into a Hermiston police car Thursday morning and left. Hermiston police also asked Pendleton to take photos of the vehicle she drove, which should have damage to the passenger side. 10:54 a.m. — Someone threw eggs at a vehicle on Willow Drive, Stanfield. 11:22 a.m. - A Umatilla woman reported she was out $400 from a com- puter scam involving a company called Rhombus Technologies. 1:34 p.m. - Hermiston police received a call about a male in his 20s riding on top of a car driving on Sixth Street going toward East Highland Avenue. 2:34 p.m. - An employee of Ashley Manor shopping for clients at the Hermis- ton Wal-Mart reported the theft of several credit cards belonging to Ashley Manor residents. 10:59 p.m. - A resident of West Quince Avenue, Hermiston, reported her lights were off when she left her residence but were on when she returned home. 11:19 p.m. - A truck fire was reported at Oxford Suites, Hermiston. The fire was put out, but an observer found a road flare on the tire where the fire started and said it looks like an intentional fire. ARRESTS, CITATIONS •Hermiston police arrested David Ralph Starkweather, 53, address not provided, on charges of strangulation (aggravated assault), disorderly conduct II, harassment, driving while suspended. • Hermiston police arrested Trevor Wyatt Smith, 21, address not provided on charges of second-degree assault (felony) and second-degree disorderly conduct. •Boardman police arrested Raphel Mputu Mubamba, 27, of Boardman, for domestic violence fourth-degree assault, strangulation and interfering with making a 9-1-1 call. •Milton-Freewater police arrested Karl Lyle Floerchinger, 56, of 311 N.E. Eighth Ave., Milton-Freewater, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. •Boardman police arrested Jack Dale Castator, 31, of Boardman, on a warrant and for possession of methamphetamine.
