AGRI-TOURISM GRANT AWARDED Northeast Oregon Economic Development District (NOEDD), in coordination with the EOVA ( Eastern Oregon Visitors Association ) and Travel Oregon, was recently awarded a USDA ( United States Department of Agriculture ) Rural Business Development Grant ( RBDG ) to further develop agri-tourism in two of Eastern Oregon’s sub-regions: the Northeast ( Baker, Union, & Wallowa counties ) and Oregon’s Rugged Country - Umatilla and Morrow Counties . All project activities must be completed by November 30, 2016. Kalie Davis – SAGE Center Manager and Emily Waite – Boardman Chamber of Commerce Executive Director both serve on the EOVA Board of Directors and will be directly involved in this project.
