A totem pole on its way from the Lummi Nation along the coal train route through Washington, Oregon and Montana on its way to the Northern Cheyenne in Montana will stop in Boardman for a seven drum circle ceremony and blessing hosted by the Yakama Nation. Shelter staff estimate she is 1 to 2 years old and say she is good with children and other dogs. She is current on all his vaccinations and is eligible for a free veterinary examination. She can be adopted for $150 at the Humane Society of Eastern Oregon Pet Rescue, and there is $50 refund if she is spayed withing 60 days of adoption.
