Maxine Louise Malone, RI 6WDQ¿HOG 2UHJRQ ZDV born on January 4, 1939, in Syracuse, Kansas, to parents Glen and Hazel Von Hemel Wilkerson. She died on February 24, 2015, in Hermiston, Ore- gon, at the age of 76 years. She was raised and attended schools in Kansas. Maxine was united in marriage to Malone Clyde Robert “C.R.” Malone on May 17, 1958, in Ulysses, Kan. They lived in Kansas, New Mexico and Colorado before settling in 6WDQ¿HOG 2UHJRQ LQ where they have lived since. Maxine and C.R. were sealed in the Portland Temple on May 17, 1990. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she had been active in Relief Society and teaching Sun- day School. Maxine enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, as well as seeing family pictures that were posted on Facebook. She is survived by her husband C.R. Elathine A. “Ella” Mar- low, 83, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2015, surrounded by her husband and children at her home in Hermiston, Oregon. She was born in Se- attle, Washington, to Guy and Alma Parke on January 26, 1932. Ella was raised for a time in California before settling in Umatilla, Oregon. Marlow She graduated from Umatilla High School in the class of 1950. Ella met Darrell “Vern” Marlow and they were unit- ed in marriage on October 24, 1951, in Hermiston, Oregon. They moved to Seattle, Washington, where she earned her LPN nurs- ing license and practiced for 20 years. They returned to Hermiston, Oregon, in 2010 where they have lived since. Her faith was a very important part of her life. Ella was involved in vari- ous ministries in her church throughout the years. She was a member of Living Faith Church. Ella enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, and oil painting. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dar- rell “Vern” Marlow, Herm- iston, Ore.; son David Mar- low (Darlene), Snohomish, Wash.; daughters Joan Reeves (Barry), Hermiston, Ore., and Natalie Journot, Hermiston; broth- ers Richard Parke, Portland, Ore., Dale Parke, Hermiston, Ore., and George Parke, Cascade Locks, Ore.; sis- ters Janice Brewer, Illinois, Marilyn Schiller, Echo, Ore., and Nettie Lukovich, New York; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchil- dren.
