C., and Bill Gulliford, student from Oregon University, talked to the social economics class Tuesday afternoon, and are home to enjoy their Christmas holidays. The turkey picking plant closed Tuesday afternoon with Gilbert Smith reporting 11 carloads hav ing been sold to the army and shipped to Portland and to Seattle. Mrs. Fred Shelton was called to Michigan a week ago due to the serious illness of her daughter Dorothea (Mrs. Brock).
