Mrs. Victor Bangoechea, who died suddenly after a brief illness. Mrs. Wattenburger was accompanied to Idaho by her fath- 1 er, A. V. Strain and her sister, Mrs. Elsie Van Orsdall. both of Pendleton. Mr. and Mrs. Barney Murrell moved to Ordnance Monday where they are now working at the depot. Echo Ladies Aid society will give a bazaar and food sale at the Methodist church basement Satur day, December 2. They will serve a dinner at noon. Mr. and Mrs. George Vincent, who have been employed at Brewster, Wn„ for several months, have returned home and will spend the winter at their residence in Westlawn. Hearing tests for Echo school pu pils was completed at Stanfield Tuesday. Only two per cent of the children showed defective hearing. The audiometer tests were made by a representative of the state board of health, using 40 head sets and phonograph record ings. Mrs. Robert Spike and infant son, Robert Michael, are expected home from the Pendleton hospital Thursday.
