R m » HMek Harley Rogers enjoyed his fur lough with his mother, Grace Rog ers, at her ranch, and has returned to his camp in Louisiana. Jack Rice spent a few days here with his mother, Grace Scott, and attended the Round Up. He has returned to Seattle. Mrs. Wesley Blessing of Port land visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Loughary last week. Mrs. Glenn Rutherford (Barbara Wessell) of Petaluma, Cal., is vis iting her mother, Mrs. Ina Whit ney at Hermiston and the Frank Rutherfords at Stanfield. Helen Swaney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Swaney has taken an extended leave from Ordnance to visit friends in Texas. Mrs. Max Piger and sons were Pendleton visitors Monday. Mrs. George Sale and Mabel Ditzler were also visitors there. Pfe. Henry Perkins of Camp Roberts is visiting his father and brother here and will return to Camp Van Dorn, Miss., this week. The Harmony club met Tuesday of last week at the home of their president, Mrs. Bert Stone and made plans for their winter s pro- gram. The Home Economics club met Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the country home of Mrs. Roscoe Meyers.
