appendicitis and will soon be home.
The high school had a pie social and

Edward C. Elliot, coach at Union
high school, will teach in Irrigon next
fall. Mrs. Elliot will also teach here.
Mr. Elliot was a former teacher at
Umatilla. All of the local teachers
have signed up to teach elsewhere, so
a new staff will be present in Septem
ber.
