Warner, Poetar The sermon topic for Sunday morn ing will be, “Keeping the Revival Fires Burning”, and Sunday evening, “The Parable of the Ten Virgins.” The Bible School reached an attend ance of 150 on last Sunday. The Bible School meets at 10:00 a. m., worship service at 11:00, Christian Endeavor at 7:00 p. m. and evening worship at 8:00. The Women’s Council will meet for an all day session on Wednesday of next week at the parsonage. The mid-week service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 and the choir practice at 8:15 the same even ing. GASOLINE January 21—Expiration date of No. 9 stamps in A book, each good for 3 gallons. TIRES Cars with C ration books must have tires inspected every 3 months; B books every 4 months: A books every 6 months. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Blinston, Maxine and Rita. On Pearl Harbor day, December 7, the Umatilla high school student body will offer a bright and timely comedy entitled “Mr. and Mrs. America” at the school gymnasium, and everyone will get a chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. America for the first time and be thrilled, excited and delighted by their many and varied experiences. In the title roles will be Anne Mary Sherlock and Jimmie Linn, and in prominent supporting parts the fol lowing: Agnes Kennedy, Alva Steph ens, Benny Reeves, Fern Harriman, Ellamae Ewing, Maxine Thompson, Patty Rice. Sara Wurster, Helen Presnell and Frank Kinney. Mrs- Hansen of the U. H. S. faculty, is di rector of the play. This play is one that is written around the lives of the average Amer ican—in fact, it might be about you or you or you. If anyone wishes to banish gloom and improve their mor ale, they are asked to be on hand the evening of December 7th, for this play is one they will never forget and one that will make one prouder than ever of being an American.
