U. (). ID NEWS Bud Beard and Max Piger of the Training Division report a total catch in the pheasant season of three birds. Max tells the story that the first bird killed had no signs of shot. This game is beginning to be a fea ture event on the yearly schedule of each school with each squad saving a few special plays to spring on each other. The Bulldogs hold an early season victory over the Morrow county lads but reports from Heppner indicate that several games have been won by that team over strong squads since the game with Hermiston. Especial ly has the Heppner backfield been strengthened the latter part of the season. Coach Frank Davison’s Bulldogs are far from down-hearted following the shellacking received at the hands of Pendleton last Friday. The boys were romping through workouts ear ly this week intent only on winning against Heppner Armistice Day.
