Mrs. Josephine I iedloff left Fri day for her home in California after ting ten days at the home of her son and dauchter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Liedloff and another son Eddy. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Brown and children of Rieth spent Sunday visit ing her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Connell and friends here. Betty Mustard, student nurse in Pendleton, spent Sunday here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mustard. Dale Hiatt left last week for Eu gene where he will attend O. S. C. Peter D. Farley spent from Friday till Monday in Portland. F. S. Baker and Mrs. Dean New gard spent Thursday in Pasco. Mrs. John McGraw and daughter Judith Ann returned with them to spend un til Friday evening. Mrs. Melvin Eller was hostess to the pinochle club at her home last Wednesday evening. Guests were Madames Al Vieg, Dean Newgard, Oliver and Glenn Ostrom. Prizes were won by Mrs. Vieg and Mrs. Newgard. Mrs. C. A. Ronen spent from Wed nesday to Saturday in Spokane where she went for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kester of Port land spent Sunday evening and Mon day here visiting friends on their way to the mountains where they will spend a week hunting. The Kesters formerly lived here. David Tonies, who is stationed with the navy at Farragut. Idaho, where he has been for the past seven weeks, came last week to visit with his fath er, Gus Tonies and sisters. Mrs. Dale Montgomery and Barbara Tonies. He expects to receive further assignment upon his return. Mrs. Alma Bowman of Arlington spent the week end here visiting her daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Simth. Ralph Storm left Friday for Port land where he will dispose of his home there and move his wife and household goods" here.
