Word was received Tuesday from Tiny Caldwell that he has arrived in San Francisco and is confined in a naval hospital there. He expects to be home soon on a medical discharge. Miss Rosalie Hammer who has been employed by the Rogers Canning com pany in Milton has been spending a few days at home but will return to work at the Majonnier plant in Free water. FOUR-H YOUTH TO VISIT RAM SALE On Thursday. August 17th, a 4-H club program will be put on in con nection with the annual ram sale at Pendleton. In addition to judging and other work with sheep, club mem bers will have an opportunity to see the Eastern Oregon State Hospital dairy herd, saddle horses, equipment of the Mustangers and instruction in horsemanship. The day’s program will be climaxed with a swim in the Pendleton natatorium. The club mem- ers will leave Hermiston by bus for Pendleton at 8:30 a. m. and return in :he evening.
