A. Yeager, county school super intendent, was in Hermiston Wed- nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Fix and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lindner motored to Portland Saturday night. Monday, Mrs. Lindner purchased a new re mote control machine for her beauty shop here. The group returned Mon day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rhea of Stan field are the parents of a 6 pound 5 ounce baby girl born Tuesday, April 7. They have named her Sandra Jean. Miss Eva Wilcox left Friday morning for Tacoma and Seattle, re turning Monday night.
