Dixson and Elmer Dixson were in Salem on business over the week end. Mrs. Chas. Haygad of Rufus vis ited Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. I. Whitney. Lt. and Mrs. Sexton and infant son spent the week-end with relatives in The Dalles. N. R. Mueller and Joe Reeves made a trip to Portland and into central Oregon last week on business. John Behrman, who has been em ployed at the local jewelry store dur ing "boom” activities, left Wednes day for Walla Wala where he will seek employment.
