Slaughter entertained the Ladies Aid members at her home last Thursday with the usual pot luck dinner. The time was spent in tying a quilt foi Mrs Walter Grider. Mrs. Josephine Gabriel has been quite ill the past week. Mrs. Lyle Eddy and baby daugh ter were brought home Sunday from the Hermiston hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Tajache are the new people in the Allie Laveren- son residence. Mrs. Alice Hoglan who was with her mother during her illness re turned to her home the last of the week. Mrs. Ernest Stephens and children Joe and Janet spent Friday and Sat urday at Pendleton with Mr. Steph- ens who is working on the highway near there. Batie Rand and his mother Mrs. Geo. Rand were Pendleton visitors Tuesday. W. C. Isom was cutting wood at the H. C. Warner place Monday. Revival services at the Community church which were being conducted by Rev.
