W A ID BURIED SU N D A Y Surviving are his wife, Lenna, Claude.and Vernon, all of Stanfield, Mrs. Lulu White of Ukiah and Mrs. Wanda Duvall of Lexington, besides six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He came to Oregon with his fam ily in 1906, settling on a homestead near Lexington. They moved to Stanfield in 1912 where the family has since made their home. Mr. Waid was particularly known for his home loving qualities. He joined the church when a young man. Funeral services for James W. Waid were held Sunday afternoon in the Stanfield Presbyterian church with Rev. C. W arner of Hermiston officiating. Burial was in the Echo cemetery. Mr. Wade was born October 4, I s 51, in Savannah, Tenn., and lived te be 89 years of age. He moved with! his parents to the state of Missouri when quite young. He was married i te Thurza E.
