Detroit, Jan. 8—Chevrolet division
of General Motors reported Tuesday
that its retail sales of new cars and
trucks during 1940 totaled 1,046,069
units. In 1939 retail sales aggregat
ed 7 91,886 vehicles.
Sales for the final month of last
year were 95,119 new cars and
trucks, an increase of 6,395 over
December 1939.
