E. Butsen returned to her home in Umatilla from the Hermis ton General hospital. E. J. Gamwell of Heppner was treated a t the Hermiston General hos pital Saturday night for burns. S. R. Hunter of Milton, candidate for county commissioner, was in Hermiston Wednesday in the inter ests of his campaign for th at office. Mrs. A. F. Rohrman and son Charles and Mrs. Chas. Rohrman of Pendleton returned Friday from spending two days in Portland. Romar Stein and Herbert Rasnick of Portland spent part of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Swarner. The M. E. Aid ladies will hold a bazaar and cooked food sale Satur day, Dec. 7, at Burnham’s Store. 10-c Mrs. F. C. McKenzie accompanied her son, Mr. and Mrs. George McKen zie and family, to Tillamook Sunday for a 10-day visit. George and his family had spent a week here pheas ant hunting. M. E. Knickerbocker, John and Ed die Bensel left Friday for a hunting trip above Ritter. They were joined Sunday by Dr. W. L. Morgan, Bud Elkins, Earl Bensel and Walt Pear son.
