Mr. and Mrs. Maynerd Hoaglan are the parents of a baby girl born at the Hermiston hospital Thursday, May 9. The baby has been named Bonnie Jean. Mrs. W alter Grider is on the sick list. There was a large attendance at the fellowship meeting held at the Pentecostal church last Wednesday. Rev. Riker from Freewater, Rev. Turner from Pasco and Rev. Miller preached at different hours. Miss Ethel Smith gave a talk to the young folks. Brother Spies from Heppner acted as Presbyter. About 260 were served at dinner. Miss Marcella Slaughter from Portland is visiting her parents. The Sunday school hour at the Presbyterian church has been chang ed to 9 o’clock a. m. Rev. Walpole will act as superintendent. Preach ing services will follow at 10 o’clock. Roy Minnick is taking several days off to have some dental work done. Mr. Nelson from Condon is acting as relief foreman. Miss Snow McCoy from Hermiston spent the week end with the home folks. Mr. and Mrs. James Amberg were visitors at Burbank, Wn., Sunday. Wayne Caldwell and a friend from Portland visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Caldwell, over Sunday.
