Chenault, field superintend ent, states that the boys are now working on a blow north of Hermis ton. I. A. Switzer, educational adviser at the camp, is at the Lewiston, Ida ho headquarters this week. Other than regular courses special work in soil conservation is given. Instruc tors include J. R. Chenault, S. P. Smith, T. Powell. Wm. Mitchell. D. E. Dyer, Lee Nelson, R. E. Tiller and E. Richman. College credits may be earned through correspondence and exten sion courses. The local Rebekah lodgee is plan ning a benefit dance in the Odd Fellow hall March 4. Mrs. W. M. Pearson returned Tuesday night from Portland where she has been receiving medical a t tention. She is greatly improved in health. Bert Farw ell of Burley, Idaho, ar rived Monday to visit for a few days w ith his sister, Mrs. F. E. Sater, whom he ha3 not seen for tw enty years. J. D. Holland of Stanfield, who has been a medical patient in the Hermiston General hospital, left Monday for his home greatly im proved. The names of Zelma Sale and Ger aldine Mullins were excluded from the senior honor roll last week due to an oversight. Mr. and Mrs. B. Haneline and Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Clark entertained join tly Saturday night at a bridge dinner at the Haneline home. High honors were won by Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Jackson and low by Mr. and Mrs. E. L.
