Members of the class of '36 cele brated last week with a class re union a t the home of Miss Mary Burnham , when 15 were present. Games and social conversation were enjoyed and a plan agreed upon to meet again in ’39. The form er is com m ercial teacher and the la tte r is cook in the cafe. Supt. and Mrs. Glenn Linn re turned Monday from th e cabin home on Mt. Hood where they spent the holidays. Miss Cecilia Beyler and Thelma Severson retu rn ed from P ortland and Astoria afte r visiting th eir fam ilies over the holidays to resume th eir duties in the local school. Coach and Mrs. Norman W orthley arrived Monday a fte r spending the holidays w ith her parents in P o rt land. Miss Adeline E ager has retu rn ed from Pendleton to resume her du ties as a teacher in the local high school. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Eddy and d au g h ter Sylvia of Irrigon were vi sitin g in U m atilla Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack S hort and a friend from P ortland spent the New Y ear's holidays visitin g her fath er and family, Joe Long. Betty McKenzie and M arian Nel son. who are stu d e n t nurses a t St. A nthony’s hospital in Pendleton, spent Sunday evening a t th e home of Miss McKenzie’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Charles H iatt of Pendleton spent the New Y ear’s hol idays at the home of th e ir son, Ur- sel H iatt and family. Mrs. Mildred L au d h art returned Monday from P ortland where she has been visiting at the home of her son for a week. She w ill make her home for two m onths w ith her d au g h ter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jim m ie W alsh. nob McKenzie and Ed Skouho, and W arren Dillon of Boardm an, re turned Monday from P o rtland where they spent a few days. Orlin Lane rode as far as P ortland w ith them, then going on to San Diego w here he w ill sail for H aw aii to join the arm y for an o th er six months.
