Matters pertaining to the interest and welfare of this area will be discussed at this meeting. Walter Smith, president of the club, introduced a committee from the Garden club to the 32 members present. The committee presented a plan for a Christmas decoration contest in the local residences and yards and for business houses, stating that a community Christmas tree will be erected at the west end of Main street this year.
