Neff of Port land are spending the Christmas holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Alton Kingsbury. Mrs. Neff is Mr. Kings bury’s mother. Mrs. W. Cochran and small daugh ter of Silverton, Ore., visited last week with her mother, Mrs. Bert Mullins. Miss Ruth Dodd, who is a student at St. Helen’s Hall in Portland, is home for the holidays visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Dodd. John Finkbeiner, who is a student at Willamette University at Salem, visited early this week with his bro ther and family, Rev. and Mrs. R. R. Finkebeiner. They plan to leave Thursday morning for Connell, Wn., to spend Christmas with their par ents. Billy Bish of Mutual. Oklahoma, was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Estle Saturday night and Sunday. Mrs. O. O. Felthouse and Miss Edith Clarke motored to Walla Wal la Tuesday. Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Morgan left Wednesday afternoon for Portland to spend the holidays with relatives. They expect to return Sunday. Miss Edna Turnblad. who is at tending business college at Baker, arrived home Sunday to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Turnblad. Mrs. M. G. Hedwall left Tuesday night for Astoria where she will spend the Christmas holidays with her parents. Allan Bowman returned home Sunday from Baker where he has been operating a shoe repair shop for his brother Elvest. Jack Downing left Friday for Portland where he plans to attend school. He spent the fall months with a railroad welding gang on the Union Pacific. Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Thompson and daughter Jean of Pendleton expect to spend Christmas day with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thompson.
