the week end. The Lyle Blaydens
lived in Hermiston for three years

Louisiana and Missippi are about
the same. Here we saw our first
baled hay, cut on the low lands. It
is a wild grass and is baled in fifty
pound bales and as hairy as a por
cupine. There is no herd law in
this country and the stock feeds on
the highway. Here we saw razoi
back hogs which would be killed for
runts if one of our farmers found
them in his herd. Their snouts are
as long as their bodies, but they say
they are buiìt that way so they can
drink water out of a pine stump.
